Well hello.
I grew up in San Diego, CA. Got my training at San Diego Junior Theatre and O'Farrell School of Creative and Performing Arts for Junior and High School. Did plays and musicals from the time I was 8, started working professionally at 15 around town: Starlight Civic Light Opera, San Diego Rep, La Jolla Playhouse. After I graduated high school at 17, I went to Cairo, Egypt to dance in the Hello Hollywood Revue, performing and living in the Hyatt Regency in Heliopolis for 3 months. When I was 19, went to Casablanca, Morocco to do the same. Came back, did 8 companies of A Chorus Line including swinging the National Tour (3rd Bus and Truck, baby!) which brought me to live in New York City. Been a working New York actor ever since. Lots of wonderful Regional Theatre work, then Off-Broadway in I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, then first Broadway role Anytime Annie in 42nd Street in 2001. Started singing on the side with a fantastic 7-piece jazz band made up of top Broadway musicians - Mylinda Hull and Her Lucky 7, doing arrangements that had long been floating around in my head. Many Broadway shows and remarkable theatrical experiences later, I live with my husband and our 2 kids in Brooklyn. Family life has led me to pursue more film and televison work to stay closer to home. Also, we have a 2 crazy dogs whose demands to sit on my lap at all times must be met. I mean, priorities, people.
And I'm still at it.
Thanks for stopping by!
